maestral is the result of a unique partnership between CEA (French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energy Agency) and TECHNETICS GROUP. This laboratory, located in Pierrelatte (France) is characterised by a shared patent portfolio and synergy in terms of temps and resources.

The French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energy Agency is a scientific, technological and commercial public body. It has over 15,000 employees, 1000 PhD students and postdoctorands, as well as international collaborators. Major player in research, development and innovation, the CEA is active in four areas: defence and security, low-carbon energy (nuclear and renewable), technology research for industry and basic research (matter and life sciences).

Technetics Group, a leader in the design and manufacture of custom-made seals and sealing systems for critical applications, provides innovative solutions worldwide for the most demanding critical applications, from nuclear reactor vessels to aircraft engines .

The company employs 1000 people worldwide including 260 in France on 13 production sites.
